We haven't really had any good snow this winter - it's all been mixed with ice so Autumn hasn't experienced it yet. Today we finally had fluffy good snow, but the wind was too strong to go out so I brought it in. I guess since it was on a plate she thought it was to eat since that's what she did - she kept saying "mmmm". Glad I avoided the yellow snow from the neighbor's dog!

Potty
We decided we'd let Autumn play with her new potty until it was time to potty train her in a few months. Some people need to read but Autumn needs to have her phone!

Need a tune-up?
Autumn's checking if her lion needs a tune-up...and what grease-monkey wouldn't wear cute bunny PJs from their Grammy to do it? She's practicing so she can work on the Grampy's car!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Autumn had a fun Valentine's Day. Daddy got her a "stuffed" rose that she likes to play with.
Do you like her artwork on the wall?
Here she is making something that definitely doesn't smell like roses! The flower even wilted...
After she was smelling like a rose again, Daddy gave her his hat to play with...

Where's Kitty (and Puppy)?
Autumn noticed today that Zoe is not around. Zoe found a home with a friend from my Bible Study. I miss her but I know she's going to get more attention and affection since I could no longer have her as my lap cat because of my allergies. Anyway, at dinner the "kitty song" was playing and she looked all around for Zoe and kept calling her "mow-mow". It made me sad. I think Autumn also thinks Milo is outside instead of living at his new home. When she gets up from a nap - she points to the window and says "woo-woo" and when we are downstairs playing she goes to the sliding-glass door quite often and looks out and says "woo-woo". I think it's good that the animals found new homes now - in a few more months it may have devastated her.

Looking for "Trouble"
Autumn knows she's not allowed behind the couch - that's why we have a box in between the couch and the play yard, but she pushes the box and squeezes in there. Here she is getting in trouble!

Our little artist!
Autumn was coloring in her giant Pooh Bear coloring book but then got up and proceeded to go over to the computer armoire with her crayon in hand. I warned her not to color on anything and I'm convinced she understands because she looked straight at me with her devilish smile and reached her hand back and colored on the armoire - all while looking at me and laughing. Needless to say, she got a time out while I cleaned the green crayon off the armoire. I'm sure this is just the first of many creative expressions we will see from this little one!
Tickle-Me-Autumn
This morning we were sitting on the floor and Autumn reached down and tickled her toes and said "ticka-tick-all". I guess Mommy does tickle Autumn's "footsies" a lot and Autumn is now picking up on everything! Watch what you do and say around her or you may get yourself in trouble!

I need my diaper changed, please!
Tonight while Jim and I were watching Autumn play, she went and got a diaper and came over to us and then put the diaper down near where it should go. She did it a few times and finally we thought, maybe she wants her diaper changed (she probably thinks we're so clueless!). We took her to change her and her diaper was VERY wet. She's a smart cookie!
She had her 15 month well visit today and has hit all her developmental milestones. She's in the 50th percentile for weight and height (23lbs and 30.5"). She had 2 shots today - polio and DTap but seems to be doing well despite them.
Valentine's Day Photos
We took Autumn for her Valentine's Day photos last night. We had a coupon for a free sheet!

New Words
Last night when we were taking pictures we told her to "say cheese" as she posed for the camera and she did! Today I asked her if she wanted applesauce and she said "apple".
