We decided to try sidewalk chalk today - she liked it but was more impressed with the dirt on the driveway (she can say "dirt" now!) and the airplanes flying overhead. At one point she just laid down so she could watch a jet go over the house! She also enjoyed smelling the only "flower" in the yard - a dandylion growing along side the deck!

Sick Autumn
Poor Autumn threw up again today- again after having a bottle so we're going to call the dairy to see if there were any other complaints... it's strange that she was fine for 48 hours and both times got sick after having milk. We could tell she didn't feel good when she fell asleep on Dada.

Mother's Day
We celebrated Mother's Day a week late since I was in so much pain on the actual date after having my toenail surgically removed. Autumn was a big help bringing me my presents...

Making Mama Presents
Dada took Autumn to Grandpop and Gramma's to make Mother's Day presents. Autumn had fun coloring a shirt for Mama. Dada also made some clay to make handprints but Autumn kept grabbing the clay so the handprints became footprints since that was easier to get her to do!

Mommy and Autumn
We had a free photo coupon that expired on Sunday so Autumn and I had our picture taken together.

A different type of "pooh"
We have a potty in the living room for Autumn to explore so it's not a foreign object when we start potty training. Today she was showing me the potty and I told her that soon she was going to go "pooh-pooh" and "pee-pee" in the potty like a big girl. She turned around and went and got "Pooh" and put him in the potty. Just goes to show that she understands thing in the context of what she's familiar with!

Playing in the snow!
Jim and I took Autumn out in the snow this morning before Jim went to work (and before the snow totally melted this afternoon!). She liked to sit in it and play - she couldn't figure out how to pick it up with her mittens on.

Playing with the snow!
We haven't really had any good snow this winter - it's all been mixed with ice so Autumn hasn't experienced it yet. Today we finally had fluffy good snow, but the wind was too strong to go out so I brought it in. I guess since it was on a plate she thought it was to eat since that's what she did - she kept saying "mmmm". Glad I avoided the yellow snow from the neighbor's dog!
