Invitation for Abbi

Tonight, while up at Grammy and Biddy's (that's Jen's Dad's new name since Grammy always calls him "Bernie") house, Biddy decided to pretend to call Abbi. Autumn took the phone and told Abbi that they would "play cars, chairs, eat cheese". Abbi won't be able to turn down such a good play-date offer for long!

Huh?

Autumn was very frusterated with me today for not knowing what "cheenos" were. After at least an hour, I finally got it - cheenos = cheese noodles (mac'n cheese).

Autumn's Favorite Phrase

Autumn seems to always be "stuck". I can't count how many times a day she says "I stuck"...basically any time she is confined or wants to be doing something else - in her high chair, the bath tub, her car seat, her crib, her pack'n play, when we're changing her...

Expensive friends!

Autumn's stuffed friends have high-end tastes - apparently they all wanted a milk bath treatment today and her pack-n-play became the milk "spa". She used her full sippy to douse each one with a significant amount of "mulk". The milk treatment was followed by a nice "spin" around the washing machine - free of charge!

oh, man!

Autumn cracks me up with her new little sentences... Today we were playing in her room and she got the door stop off the wall. She looked at it in her hand and said "I break. Oh, man!".

What will she be?

Since Autumn was born we've try to figure out what she will like and what she will do as she grows up...she likes to dance so we see recitals in our future, she likes to kick the ball around the house so we know I'll be a soccer mom at some point, but today we had a new thought...she was eating her snack - grapes - she smelled them, ate them, and then asked for cheese and crackers - wine connoisseur? Let's hope that doesn't happen until after college!

How Polite!

This morning Autumn came over to me and put her hands out and said "ick" which was to let me know she had icky hands from her banana. I asked her if she'd like me to wipe her hands and she said "oh, yes". Tonight when we gave her a bath, Dada asked if she wanted conditioner on her hair and she said "please". She makes us laugh which counters those 'terrible 2' moments!

Opposites

We were talking about opposites and going through big and little. Autumn said "Dada big toes"...guess she gets the point!

Autumn's Favorite Foods

Autumn eats mostly organic food - Giant has most items in an organic equivalent! Here are her favorites:

She doesn't like meat or veggies - sometimes I can sneak them in but not often. She also doesn't like any type of juice - only water or "mulk".

The weigh in!

We weighed ourselves today using the Wii fit...Autumn is up to 27lbs! She would not stand still enough to register her weight so we had to weigh her by having Dada hold her and then put her down and weigh himself and do the math. When we plugged in her height and Dada plus Autumn's weight, it says she's obese and makes her little mii person really short and fat! I've gained almost 14 of my targeted 25lbs which is right where I'm supposed to be for 28 weeks (need to gain 1 pound a week until baby comes which is the norm). Dada does not disclose his information.
