Autumn loves "Dinosaur Train" on PBS so she was very excited to get to ride the train up at Bear Rock Junction and pretend it was the Dinosaur Train - there was even the "time tunnel". The conductor stopped at the side of the pond so we could look for bullfrogs (who were "sleeping in the weeds") and fish. And to complete the night she enjoyed "green ice cream" (mint chocolate-chip). Autumn and I shared a double scoop so I put one scoop into each of the 2 cups. Once hers was getting low she decided that she wanted me to "share" the mine (I couldn't eat it as fast since I was helping her with hers). Smart girl.

Melt my heart!
Today we were playing and something was "pretty" and Autumn said "Look, Momma, it's pretty, just like you".

9 Months Old!
I think Bubby is wondering why we are celebrating his 3/4 "birthday" but Autumn is getting cake and he isn't! He's SO big (but not really, he's a peanut!).
Happy 9 Month Birthday, Bubby!
We celebrated Evan's 9 month "birthday"... Autumn likes these quarterly birthdays since there is cake!

Take me out to the ballgame...
We went to see the Iron Pigs again tonight. It was SO humid but after the breeze started it was beautiful. Autumn loved playing in their playground but was "scared" of Ferrous, though she liked seeing him from afar. We had ice cream (thanks, Pop) and hot pretzels, and saw one of the top 20 contestants from American Idol, fireworks, and even a few minutes of the game. Evan really likes fireworks - his little legs keep going, he gets so excited!
Another Milestone
Evan's been "sitting" for a while but was wobbly and could only do it for a short period of time. Last week he started to sit unsupported (for a few minutes at a time with his back nice and straight). He's been almost at the point of getting himself sitting from a crawl and finally did it today. He was crawling, sat up, grabbed a toy and played with it for a few minutes before crawling away again! He's becoming very fast and mobile, even though he does a belly crawl (I call it the sea turtle crawl).
